On June 30th, students of DePaul University’s STARTALK Chinese Program 2010 visited Green City Market, a year-round farmers’ market held in Chicago’s Lincoln Park that promotes local, sustainable farmers, producers and chefs. Many students pined to use their learned Chinese vocabulary of fruits and vegetables; this field trip provided them with invaluable practice.
